| Hi, my name is Dax Balladares and Im a Miami and Stockholm based fashion photographer, I also shoot beauty and advertising, but my passion is shooting fashion. Jag ar en Stockholm Fotograf. I wrote this to help me with searches, so if it does not make sense now you know why :). I shoot for local, national and international magazines. A lot of my fashion work can be seen in magazines from all over the United States as well as South America and Europe. Im still trying to shoot fashion editorials for magazines in Africa and Asia. I also shoot a lot of local advertising, yes I have done a couple of national advertising campaigns and Im working in increasing that number of advertising campaigns. I started shooting with a film camera and now I own a regular 35 mm film camera as well as a 35 mm digital camera. I complement that with a medium format film camera. Will live in Stockholm Sweden most of the time from 2010 on. As of November 2010 I have moved permanently to Stockholm, Sweden. The brands I use ( if that matters to you ) are Nikon and Contax for most of my work. I also use Hasselblad when needed. I do play around with older cameras and polaroids. All these instruments help me achieve the high quality fashion, beauty and advertising images you will see all over my website. I have traveled to New York and Europe and have worked in New York and Europe as a fashion photographer, but have not decided to move to New York full time to work in fashion yet. I do plan to move and work in New York as a Fashion Photographer, but for the time being I enjoy being a Miami Fashion photographer. Besides Fashion and Advertising, I really enjoy shooting editorials, beauty, nudes and products. Nudes are a new thing for me as I have shot sexy nudes, but I want to be able to shoot very good art nudes.
